British scientist Tim Berners-Lee (Born: June 8, 1955 (age 59), London, United Kingdom) invented a simple computer language (HTML) that allowed pages to be linked together and designed an addressing scheme (URL) to locate each page. He then created the first web browser to allow peop;e to access his creation, the World Wide Web, making all the resources of the Internet availbale to everyone in the world.
